Welcome to the AIIAS Master Guide Ministries. The AIIAS MGM adheres to the program detailed by the Youth Ministries Department of the SDA General Conference.

The Master Guide (MG) curriculum is one of the leadership programs that the General Conference Youth Ministries Department use to train comitted church members for youth leadership. It is the "Ph.D." of youth ministry in the field. You cannot earn your Master Guide without taking at least one Basic Staff Training Course (BSTC).

The Master Guide is the expert, the advisor, the promoter for Adventurers and Pathfinders. As such, Master Guide is NOT an Adventurer nor a Pathfinder program, it is a Youth Ministry Leadership Program. This is better illustrated in the chart below:

With one training program, the GC Youth Ministries Department aims to provide the most current leadership development programs for youth ministry in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This concept uses the Master Guide curriculum as the foundation for junior youth ministry leadership and help keep youth leaders sharp, up-to-date, and focused on why we are in this ministry.

The AIIAS MGM, in compliance with the GC Youth Ministry program, offers the Master Guide program in three training paths. These are the Master Guide Training (MGT), which is the foundation; the Pathfinder Leadership Award (PLA), and the Advanced Pathfinder Leadership Award or Pathfinder Instructor Award (APLA/PIA). Both PLA and APLA/PIA are offered as specialization continued education for invested Master Guides.
