• Welcome!

The Adventist Youth (AY) Ministries oversees the Adventurer, Pathfinder, and Master Guide ministries for the SDA Church - AIIAS. We endeavor to train and develop the youth focusing on their specific age group in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. Thus, we are united with the parents, church, and school in order to achieve this.

    What we offer the youth:

    • Age group appropriate leadership training
    • Community involvement through outreach activities
    • Interactive training in a variety of recreational, artistic, nature, conservation, vocational, and outreach areas, with awards (honors) given for successful completion of the interactive training modules
    • Personal care and encouragement by a caring staff

For potential youth leaders, we offer the Master Guide and Club Ministries Training. The training curriculum is framed to develop an awareness of the role of child/youth leadership and to become better prepared to accept this role. They will receive training in but not limited to:

    • Personal and Spiritual Development Skills
    • Christian Leadership
    • Firness and Life-style Development

This website was developed to equip, involve and empower youth leaders in order to strengthen, rejuvenate, and recreate the AY Ministries in their local church.

Available courses

The past decade, the Adventist Youth Ministries (AYM) has more than tripled its membership, and reached a high standard of efficiency with widespread interest and enthusiasm. Because of this continuing growth, it has become necessary to provide for staff members to broaden their knowledge of particular skills in both the senior and junior youth zeroing in the Adventurer and Pathfinder Ministries.

To achieve this goal, the 8-module Basic Staff Training was introduced. This training program serve as a familiarization exercise that provides adequate awareness and beginning skills for volunteer leaders. It is a separate course in the overall training structure for training adventist youth leaders.

All club ministries staff members must complete the Basic Staff Training. Upon successful completion, the staff will be granted to receive a certificate of completion. For those staff members who intend to continue their leadership training towards becoming a Master Guide, this same certificate is a mandatory requirement.
